REPLACED HIM WITH A YOUNGER MAN, ARNEL DC GOMEZ, WHO IS
A CITY VICE MAYOR OF GENUINE FAITH, INTEGRITY AND HONOR.

WITHOUT ALIPON'S ADULTERIES, GRAFTS, CORRUPTIONS, PLUNDERS,
EXTORTIONS AND ARMED ROBBERIES, FAMILIES AND BUSINESSES WILL
NOW FIND THAT SANTA ROSA CITY PROPER WILL AT LAST BECOME
A HEALTHY PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, STUDY, PLAY AND PROSPER.

Do you feel good to be Filipino today?

OK I'll tell you why we feel so good. We are OFWs from Santa Rosa Laguna,
which has been plagued for 3 years by its most corrupt vice mayor ever.
"No big deal!" you might retort, or "Par for the course!"
or "What do you expect in a province like Laguna?"

We completely agree with most cynical opinions about our city and our province
because we can't deny that they are deserved. However, at last good news is
imminent. The corrupt vice mayor is being booted out. Voters are angry and
are now coordinating their anger in no uncertain terms with voter power.
May 10, 2010, will be a milestone in the history of our home town
as the day when gangster Manuel Manoy Alipon was voted out!

We are experiencing something truly miraculous that we of so little faith did
not believe would be possible: resurgence of the undiluted, incorruptible
patriotism that made Aquino, Quezon and Rizal our National Heroes.

The amazing difference now is that it's ordinary people, not rare political heroes,
who are ringing the changes. All it needed for this to happen was clean and
transparent elections enabled by automation. When corrupt politicians
can no longer defraud the electorate by falsifying election results, as
gangster Alipon did in 2007, the people are freed from corruption
at long last to decide for themselves and elect honest leaders.
